LabSoft

This lab was launched in 2001, as a spin-off from PCT, a Technology Training Program co-sponsored by Motorola and Eldorado Institute in 1999-2000.

LabSoft addresses process-compliant software development for highly-demanding software quality assurance requirements. Lab activities are run under a strict information security policy designed to be suitable for the non-disclosure needs of the corporate environment.

Along its 6 years of experience as high-quality software provider, LabSoft has been giving evidence that, although the corporate and academic environments might have distinct requirements, they can be successfully harmonized. The key is to rely on high-skilled top-level computer science students.

Although most LabSoft's activities have been driven by cell-phone applications so far, the lab is open to challenges from other application domains.
